Kira is responsible for co-ordinating the daily activities of the Alliance, managing all relationships with its members and for organising events.  

Kira has a strong passion for the subject of sustainable development in Africa and has several years of experience working in the non-profit sector and sustainability-related topics. She previously worked as a consultant for South African and Ugandan NGOs where she project-managed several projects and outreach programmes prior to joining FSD Africa.  

Kira holds an MSc in African Studies from the University of Oxford and is an alumna of the prestigious Oxford-Patrick Duncan Graduate Scholarship in Sustainable Development. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Science and Honours in International Relations from the University of Cape Town (UCT).
