This session will highlight why nature is the next big investment opportunity in Africa, outline some of the new tools and metrics being developed to help investors assess the risks and opportunities of investing in nature and introduce a groundbreaking initiative to enhance biodiversity measurement and develop a robust pipeline of investment opportunities in Africa. Included is a presentation on how emerging global standards and reporting frameworks, such as the recently launched Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) could impact investors.
