We successfully hosted our Annual summit on May 28th, 2024, at the sidelines of the the African Development Bank’s annual meetings in Nairobi, Kenya. Themed “Harnessing Nature for Africa’s Sustainable Transformation: Building Resilience in Africa’s Financial Landscape,” the summit explored the crucial role of nature in shaping Africa’s future.

• Central Banks Nature Stress Test Report Launch: ANCA unveiled a groundbreaking report examining the nature-related risk vulnerability of five African countries’ economies. This information will be instrumental for policymakers and financial institutions.
• ANCA Progress and Strategic Roadmap: The summit highlighted ANCA’s achievements in advancing natural capital initiatives across Africa, showcasing successful projects and outlining ambitious goals for the future.
• Panel Discussions and Workshops: Experts, policymakers, and practitioners led engaging sessions on topics ranging from innovative financing for conservation to biodiversity’s role in economic resilience.
• Networking Opportunities: Attendees connected with like-minded professionals, fostering knowledge exchange, collaboration, and partnership-building for a sustainable Africa.
