Biggie Tangane is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability, international business, and ESG reporting standards. He drove strategic initiatives at the World Economic Forum’s International Business Council, managing global sustainability and energy transition projects in collaboration with major firms like EY, Bank of America, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, and the ISSB. His role includes project management, community management and strategic planning.
Previously, Biggie served as the Sustainability & Business Development Manager at De Beers Group, where he developed sustainability projects, conducted reporting analyses, and co-developed B2B sustainability partnerships. His leadership was instrumental in the successful execution of De Beers’ Building Forever Sustainability Strategy and other key initiatives.
Biggie’s career also includes roles as Sustainability Manager and as Technical Assistant in the Executive Vice President’s office at De Beers Group, where he managed executive operations, developed financial management strategies, and spearheaded sustainability planning and goal-setting. Additionally, he has held a key position at the African Leadership Group, managing special projects and providing strategic oversight.
Biggie holds an Executive Master in International Negotiation & Policy-Making from The Graduate Institute Geneva, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from The American University. His skills encompass energy transition, project management, ESG policy, and stakeholder management
